A swim lane also known as swimlane diagram is a type of flowchart. Like a flowchart, it diagrams a process from start to finish, but it also divides these steps into categories to help distinguish which departments or employees are responsible for each set of actions.
These lanes are columns that keep actions visually separated from others. A swim lane diagram makes responsibilities more clear than a regular flowchart.
When looking to improve processes, knowing which department is responsible for what can help speed up the process of correcting inefficiencies and eliminating delays. During any process improvement initiative, swimlanes help identify not just the bottlenecks in a process, but also which department is responsible for them. A swim lane diagram is also useful in helping clarify responsibilities and help departments work together in a world where departments often don't understand what the other departments do.

You may find costly redundancies and duplications or gaps and communication problems. Decide what divisions you need represented by swimlanes and label them. Start your chart. Define the starting point of the process. Add a rounded rectangle to the top of the appropriate swim lane to indicate its starting point and label it. Add steps.
Next add more steps to your chart. Each step should be connected to the one before it with a line. To draw steps in the same swimlane, draw from top to bottom.
To add a step in another division go from left to right. With each step, describe what it represents until you reach the end of the process. The arrows between the steps indicate the transfer of information or flow. Get Started Sign up for SmartDraw free. Works on your Mac or any other device.

As students write their descriptions, look out for scenarios that are unclear and ask their authors clarifying questions. Select 2—3 students whose descriptions clearly match the expression to share later.I 6 vulcani più pericolosi del mondo
Encourage them to ask the questions they have about the description, but still try to find the answer to the given expression. Arrange students in groups of 2. Give 2 minutes of quiet think time for the first question, another minute for the second question, and follow with a whole-class discussion.
Some students may struggle writing a context. Ask selected students to share their stories with the whole group.
After each student shares, have another student explain how the story matches the division equation. Afterward, ask these and other students for the value of the given expression, and write and display the completed division equation for all to see. If not already mentioned by students, highlight that the answer is the same for all scenarios because they are all based on the same division expression. In this task, students explore division situations in the context of baking cookies where the number of groups and a total amount are given, but the size of 1 group is unknown.
Students continue to use equations, diagrams, and the connection between multiplication and division in their reasoning.
How to Draw Class Diagrams: Simple Class Diagram Rules for Clear Communication
No grid is provided here, but allow students to use graph paper to support their diagram drawing if desired or needed. As students work, monitor how they start their diagrams and which quantity they represent first.
If they are not quite sure how to show a particular quantity, ask them to refer to earlier diagrams and notice how the number of groups, the size of each group, and the total amount were represented on a single diagram.
Select students whose diagrams would be instructive to others to share later. Arrange students in groups of 3—4. Give groups 5—6 minutes of quiet work time and 2 minutes to share their responses in their group.
Provide access to geometry toolkits especially graph paper and colored pencils. To make 5 batches of cookies, 10 cups of flour are required. Consider the question: How many cups of flour does each batch require?

This diagram generally consists of interfacesclassesassociations and collaborations. Such a diagram would illustrate the object-oriented view of a system, which is static in nature. The object orientation of a system is indicated by a class diagram. Since class diagrams are used for many different purposes, such as making stakeholders aware of requirements to highlighting your detailed design, you need to apply a different style in each circumstance.
A class is basically a template from which objects are created. Classes define attributes, information that are relevant to their instances, operations, and functionality that the objects support. Some of the more important guidelines pertinent to classes are listed down below. In order to realize an interface, a class or component should use the operations and attributes that are defined by the interface.
Any given class or component may use zero or more interfaces and one or more classes or components can use the same interface. As it is known an object is made up of other objects. If you were to consider as examples where an airplane consists of wings, a fuselage, engines, flaps, landing gear and so on. A delivery shipment would contain one or more packages and a team consists of two or more employees. An engine is part of a plane, a package is part of a shipment, and an employee is part of a team.
Aggregation is a specialization of association, highlighting an entire-part relationship that exists between two objects. Composition is a much potent form of aggregation where the whole and parts have coincident lifetimes, and it is very common for the whole to manage the lifecycle of its parts.
If you were to consider a stylistic point of view, aggregation and composition are both specializations of association where the guidelines for associations do apply. The UML modeling notation for inheritance is usually depicted as a line that has a closed arrowhead, which points from the subclass right down to the superclass.

Anniversary statistical collection World Statistics Day 2015 BRICS Joint Statistical Publications 39, Miasnitskaya St. Statistics is a form of mathematical analysis that uses quantified models, representations and synopses for a given set of experimental data or real-life studies. Statistics studies methodologies to gather, review, analyze and draw conclusions from data. Some statistical measures include mean, regression analysis, skewness, kurtosis, variance and analysis of variance.
Statistics is a term used to summarize a process that an analyst uses to characterize a data set. If the data set depends on a sample of a larger population, then the analyst can develop interpretations about the population primarily based on the statistical outcomes from the sample. Statistical analysis involves the process of gathering and evaluating data and then summarizing the data into a mathematical form. Statistical methods analyze large volumes of data and their properties. Statistics is used in various disciplines such as psychology, business, physical and social sciences, humanities, government and manufacturing.
Statistical data is gathered using a sample procedure or other method. Two types of statistical methods are used in analyzing data: descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics are used to synopsize data from a sample exercising the mean or standard deviation.
Inferential statistics are used when data is viewed as a subclass of a specific population. A mean is the mathematical average of a group of two or more numerals. Regression analysis determines the extent to which specific factors such as interest rates, the price of a product or service, or particular industries or sectors influence the price fluctuations of an asset.
This is depicted in the form of a straight line called linear regression. Skewness describes the degree a set of data varies from the standard distribution in a set of statistical data.
Most data sets, including commodity returns and stock prices, have either positive skew, a curve skewed toward the left of the data average, or negative skew, a curve skewed toward the right of the data average.
